Chong Soon Mei is the Chief Executive Officer of Pantai Hospital Cheras . She leads the hospital’s performance and business growth, manages overall hospital operations, and ensure compliance to regulations.
Since her appointment, she has expanded clinical specialties by recruiting consultants with relevant sub-specialties. She successfully set up an endoscopy unit at the hospital, and a close observation unit in the Paediatric Ward, allowing for better monitoring of children's medical conditions for improved health outcomes.
Chong has over 30 years of experience in the healthcare sector in Malaysia. She joined Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur in 2018 as its Chief Operating Officer and led the operations team in setting up new wards at the hospital and attaining a full accreditation from Joint Commission International
Prior to Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur, Chong was with another private hospital for over six years, starting as Deputy Director of Nursing and eventually becoming Chief Operating Officer at the healthcare facility.
