Hello Drs, I have been suffering back pain for two weeks, and I suspected it is slip disc. I have been getting physio treatment since then triple times but still no showing recovery and the physio said lumbar muscle pain.I did MRI scan for kidney stone but negative.Hence, I decided to do CT Scan/MRI Scan for spine/muscle at Pantai Hospital, how much it cost and can I go walk-in without appointment? Thanks.

Please be informed that for an MRI or CT scan at Pantai Hospital, you will require a referral letter from a physician. If you do not have a referral, we suggest consulting with one of our Orthopedic Spine Surgeons, who can assess your condition and provide the necessary referral for imaging.

Regarding the costs for the MRI scans:

MRI for the hip: RM1900 (plain), RM2500 (with contrast)

MRI for the back: RM1700 (plain), RM2500 (with contrast)
