Helicobacter /IBS / Anxiety Disorder
I am experiencing discomfort in the gastrointestinal system, with symptoms including bloating and a sensation of fullness shortly after eating. This fullness is often accompanied by bloating, occasional nausea, and a tendency to have diarrhea. I am having an anxiety disorder and is unsure whether these symptoms may be related to anxiety or if they could be indicative of an underlying condition such as Helicobacter pylori infection or irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).

Answer:
Thank you for reaching out to us. Based on the symptoms you’ve described, including bloating, early fullness, nausea, diarrhea, and your anxiety disorder, it’s possible that your discomfort could be related to anxiety, as it often affects the gastrointestinal system. However, conditions such as Helicobacter pylori infection or Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) may also present with similar symptoms. We recommend scheduling an appointment with one of our specialists to thoroughly assess your symptoms, conduct necessary tests and determine the most appropriate treatment plan.
