Cancer marker CA 19.9
Hi doctor, I have done a health screening on 18/8 and discovered my CA 19.9 is 58. I repeated the blood test on 6/10 and the result for CA 19.9 is 57. What is the next step I should do? Should I proceed to do a CT scan?

Answer:
Hi there, tumour marker is not a specific test to diagnose cancer. I appreciate that the result is a concerned and needs to be addressed accordingly. I would advise you to see a doctor to discuss further plans. Thank you.
