Answer:
I'm sorry to hear that your daughter is experiencing these unpleasant side effects when taking her antidepressant medication. Nausea and vomiting can be common side effects of some antidepressants, especially when first starting the medication. Here are some suggestions that may help alleviate these symptoms:

1. **Take the medication with food**: Sometimes taking the antidepressant with a meal or snack can help reduce nausea. Make sure it is not taken on an empty stomach.
2. **Stay hydrated**: Encourage your daughter to drink plenty of water throughout the day. This can help with nausea and prevent dehydration.
3. **Talk to the doctor**: It's important to consult with your doctor about her symptoms. The doctor may be able to adjust the dosage, switch to a different medication, or provide additional medication to manage the nausea.
4. **Ginger**: Ginger is known for its anti-nausea properties. Your daughter could try ginger tea, ginger chews, or ginger supplements to help with the nausea.
5. **Relaxation techniques**: Deep breathing exercises, meditation, or other relaxation techniques can help reduce stress and anxiety, which may worsen.

It's important to not stop taking the antidepressant medication abruptly without consulting the doctor, as this can lead to withdrawal symptoms.
