Tan Sri Datuk Mohamed Khatib Abdul Hamid
Chairman
Tan Sri Datuk Mohamed Khatib was appointed as the Chairman of Pantai Holdings Berhad on 13 March 2007.
Prior to that, he was the Chairman of Institut Jantung Negara and was instrumental in the restructuring and expansion of IJN during his four year tenure.
Tan Sri Datuk Mohamed Khatib was a career diplomat and has served in various Malaysian diplomatic missions since 1966. He was appointed as Malaysian Ambassador in developed and developing countries such as Bahrain, Kuwait, Republic Indonesia and Japan.
Tan Sri Datuk Mohamed Khatib brought an extensive corporate board of director's experience with him. Tan Sri Datuk Mohamed Khatib's areas of expertise include negotiation and diplomacy as well as strategic development and implementation in the sectors of healthcare and oil and gas.

Encik Faisal started his career in 1983 by joining the Audit Department with Touche Ross & Co, London (now Deloitte Touche & Tohmatsu). After 4 years in London, he returned to Malaysia to work in Hanafiah Raslan & Mohammad for 2 years before joining Peremba at the personal invitation of Peremba's Chairman.
Encik Faisal is also a licensed Investment Representative and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. Encik Faisal joined Khazanah from BinaFikir where he was an Executive Director cum shareholder for one and a half years. Prior to BinaFikir, Encik Faisal was an Executive Director in Landmarks Berhad, which is listed on Bursa Malaysia under hotels.
In Encik Faisal's 14 year career in Landmarks group, Encik Faisal accumulated significant experience in hotels, property investment, property development, IPP, healthcare and some experience in banking.
